Bulgur plays a central role in Middle Eastern cooking and comes in different varieties: fine, medium and coarse. Our Dark Bulgur, unlike our other bulgur varieties, is not made from durum wheat but from a special red wheat variety originating from the Middle East. This particular one is coarse which gives a little more chewing resistance. It is an excellent substitute for potatoes, rice and pasta.
