  1. About Matbah
    The company is based in Stockholm. The company’s postal address is Stensätravägen 6.

  2. Ordering
    When paying by card, the money is deducted when ordering the product. When you have completed your order, an order confirmation is sent to your e-mail address. In the confirmation you will find all information about products, price, billing and delivery address.
    If there is an error in the order confirmation, please contact us immediately by e-mail to info@matbah.se.
  3. Delivery
    If you do not live in Stockholm, our normal delivery times are 2-7 days. If you live in Stockholm, our normal delivery times are 1-3 days. ATTENTION! Orders placed on weekends are sent on the following delivery day at the earliest. Our delivery days are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

  4. Prices
    All prices in the store are stated in SEK and all prices include 12% VAT.
    We reserve the right to price changes caused by price changes from the supplier, misprints in the price list and inaccuracies in prices due to incorrect information and reserve the right to adjust the price.
  5. Right of withdrawal
    When purchasing goods on the website, you as a customer have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal that applies from the time you have received an item that you have ordered.

    1. When exercising your right of withdrawal: 
      You must announce that you regret it. The message should be sent to us info@matbah.se. Your message should clearly state your name, address, e-mail address, the order number and the goods being returned.
      You should return the products to us immediately and at the latest within the statutory 14 days after the cancellation notice.
      You are responsible for return shipping, delivery and condition of the products upon return, the products should therefore be sent well packaged and in their original packaging.
      From the refund amount, we reserve the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the reduction in value compared to the original value of the product in the case of a used or damaged product.
      Products damaged during transport must not be accepted and a notification of the damage must be attached to the transport company. The product should not be returned due to small dents that may be present in the carton or packaging in order not to damage the product. However, upon receipt by you, the carrier will be deemed to have fulfilled its obligation. After the claim for the non-approved product has been delivered to our store, our store will deliver a new product to you as soon as possible.
    2. The right of withdrawal does not apply if:
      Products that have been sealed (sealed) for health or hygiene reasons and where the seal (sealing) has been broken by you.
      Products that have the character of sealed sound or image recording and where the seal has been broken by you.
      Custom-made product, which has been tailored especially for you or has a clear personal touch according to your wishes.
      Services that have been completed and where you have expressly consented to the commencement of the service without right of withdrawal.
      Goods that can quickly deteriorate, for example food.

  6. Claims and complaints
    We inspect all products before they are sent to you. Should the product still be damaged or wrongly shipped when it arrives, we undertake, in accordance with current consumer protection legislation, to rectify the error free of charge.
    You must always contact us for approval before returning a defective item.
    The complaint must be sent immediately after the defect has been discovered. The right to complain is 3 years.

    1. How do you proceed with a complaint?
      Any faults and defects should always be reported to info@matbah.se,  where you enter your name, address, e-mail address, order number and a description of the error.
      If we are unable to remedy the defect or supply a similar product, we will refund you for the defective product in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. We are responsible for return shipping in the event of approved complaints.
      We reserve the right to refuse a complaint if it turns out that the product is not faulty in accordance with current consumer protection legislation. In the case of complaints, we follow guidelines from the General Complaints Board, see arn.se.
  7. Limitation of liability 
    We take no responsibility for indirect damages that may occur due to the product.
    We do not accept any responsibility for delays/errors due to circumstances beyond our control (Force Majeure). These circumstances may include, for example, labor disputes, fire, war, government decisions, reduced or no delivery from the supplier.
    Furthermore, no responsibility is taken for any changes to the products/product characteristics changed by the respective supplier and other factors beyond our control.
  8. Product information
    We reserve the right to make any printing errors on this website and the final sale of products. We do not guarantee that the images reflect the exact appearance of the products as some color difference may occur depending on the monitor, photo quality and resolution. We always try our best to display the products as accurately as possible.
  9. Information about cookies
    Under the Electronic Information Act, visitors to a website must be informed of the use of cookies for privacy purposes. The information in the cookie can be used to track a user’s browsing activity.     By shopping at Matbah, you accept our data protection policy and our processing of your personal data. We care about your privacy and do not collect more data than necessary to process your order. We never sell or pass on your data to third parties without a legal basis.
    Matbah is responsible for the processing of personal data that you have provided to us as a customer. Your personal data is processed by us in order to process your order and in cases where you have requested newsletters or promotional offers – in order to adapt the marketing to your individual needs.
    The information below is a summary of how we are working in accordance with the the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) stores and processes your data.

    1. What is personal data?
      Personal data is any information that can be directly or indirectly attributed to a natural person.
    2. What data do we store?
      To handle your order and answer questions related to your order (customer service), we store your first and last name, address, phone number, email address, IP address and purchase history.
      Your data is stored as long as we have a legal basis to process your data, for example to fulfill the contract between us or to comply with a legal obligation under, for example, the Accounting Act.
    3. Legal basis
      In the context of a purchase, your personal data is processed to fulfill the contract with you.
      Marketing, promotions and similar mailings are subject to your consent.
    4. What data is shared and for what purpose?
      1. Payment provider
        When making a purchase, information is shared with our payment provider. What is stored is the first name, last name, address, email address and phone number. If you choose to pay by invoice, the social security number is also saved by the payment provider. The information is stored in order to complete the purchase and to protect the parties against fraud.
        The payment providers (payment services) we use are: Bambora.
      2. Shipping companies
        In order to deliver your orders and complete our contract, we need to share specific information with the shipping company. What is shared with the shipping company is first name, last name and delivery address details. Email address and/or mobile number may also be shared with the shipping company for notification purposes.
        The shipping companies we work with are: DHL.
    5. Right of access
      You have the right to obtain extracts of all the information we hold about you. Extracts are delivered electronically in a readable format.
    6. Right of rectification
      You have the right to ask us to update inaccurate information or complete information that is incomplete.
    7. The right to be forgotten
      You can request the deletion of your data at any time. There are few exceptions to the right to erasure, such as if it must be retained to comply with a legal obligation (e.g. under the Accounting Act).
    8. Data Protection Officer
      Matbah is responsible for the storage and processing of personal data in the online store and ensures compliance with the rules.
    9. How we protect your personal data
      We use industry standards such as SSL/TLS and one-way hash algorithms to securely store, process and communicate sensitive information such as personal data and passwords.
  11. Amendments to the General Conditions
    We reserve the right to make changes to the conditions at any time. Changes to the conditions will be published online on the website. The amended conditions are deemed to be accepted when ordering or visiting the website.
  12. Disputes and team selection
    If a dispute cannot be resolved in agreement with the company’s customer service and the customer, you as a customer can turn to the General Complaints Board, see arn.se. For residents of an EU country other than Sweden, complaints can be submitted online via the European Commission’s dispute mediation platform, see http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
    In the event of a dispute, we follow decisions from ARN or an equivalent dispute resolution body.
    Any dispute regarding the interpretation or application of these general terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with Swedish law.
