Ajvar is a creamy mess originating in the Balkans. It includes peppers and aubergines. Serve it as a side dish with meat or vegetables or eat it with pasta. It is also an excellent seasoning for stews, soups and sauces. Ajvar also works for breakfast with eggs or toast.
